Denver’s own Br. Larry Luján has been elected to serve on the Redemptorists’ new General Council from the Conference of North America.

Saturday, October 1, the Holy Father Francis received the participants in the XXVI General Chapter at the Clementine Hall of the Vatican Apostolic Palace.

The Redemptorists have elected a new Superior General, Fr. Rogerio Gomes, CSsR, former consultor general from the Province of Sao Paolo, Brazil. Many Congratulations.

A triduum and feast day Mass in honor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus “Rock” Church in St. Louis next week, marking the 100th anniversary of the weekly perpetual novena at the parish.

June 27 marked the feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Pope Pius IX granted the image its Canonical Coronation in 1867 along with its present title.
