Sunday, November 15 marked the fourth annual World Day of the Poor. This year Pope Francis used the words from the book of Sirach to shed light on the great story of poverty that envelopes entire nations: “Stretch forth your hand to the poor.”
Redemptorist Deacon Huy Vu, C.Ss.R. was ordained to the Priesthood on Sunday, October 4 at St. Alphonsus Redemptorist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Redemptorist Cardinal Joseph Tobin, C.Ss.R., of the Archdiocese of Newark, and Denver Provincial Steve Rehrauer, C.Ss.R. presided.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Rev. Ken Sedlak, C.Ss.R., who died on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at St. Clement Redemptorist Mission Community in Liguori. Fr. Ken last served at St. Michael in Old Town parish in Chicago.
