God has a plan for each of us and it is perfect. Since before time began God has had each of us in mind (heart) for an essential roles in this Divine Plan. We are not just cogs in a giant wheel. We are uniquely special to God. All of us have been chosen, called, sent forth in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and enabled with everything we will need on the journey of a life of living the Faith.
We sometimes find it difficult to believe that God gives us everything we need, especially when we ask for something and judge that we have not received it. God’s Plan takes trust, because in believing God’s Plan, we still do not know what is going to happen next! Trust is necessary. It is necessary to let go. We do this only with God’s help, which is called divine grace.
We must remember that if we say YES to God in living whatever our vocation is in life, that He always has, does and always will give us all that we need to be the best husband, wife, mother, father, religious, single person, deacon, priest…. whatever it is to which He calls us.
Our Mission
The Redemptorist mission is simple: To strive to imitate the virtues and examples of Jesus Christ, Our Most Holy Redeemer, by preaching the word of God to the poor. We look to serve society’s forgotten, those who have fallen into despair, and those most neglected. And we do this through vows of poverty, chastity and obedience. We live with them. We work with them. We also learn with them. We learn how to be better people. How to keep faith in tough times. And how the Holy Spirit can guide us through suffering. Together, we experience the love of Jesus Christ. Join with us in bringing the Gospel of hope to those most in need.
