This week marked the feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. The Redemptorists are the guardians of the Icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. In 1867, Pope Pius IX established the Redemptorists’ special relationship to the Icon, telling us to make her image known throughout the world. Since then, the Redemptorists have spread devotion to Mary under the Icon and title of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Today the Icon is permanently enshrined in the Redemptorist Church of Saint Alphonsus in Rome.
This summer the Association of Catholic Publishers awarded Liguori’s ”Padre Pio: Saint for Reconciliation” first place in the Children: Younger Readers category. Now is a great time to browse Liguori's summer reading lists for children!
Circles of Redemptorist Associates was launched in 2017 by the provinces of the North American Conference of the Redemptorists. It is already bearing fruit!
